Every cat has a story, but few are as playful and full of personality as Merlin, our Catkea Cat of the Month! This delightful Domestic Short Hair (DSH) kitten has stolen the hearts of his family—and now, the entire Catkea community!

A Bundle of Energy and Affection

Merlin isn’t your ordinary feline. With a spunky, cheeky, and affectionate personality, he keeps his family entertained with his playful antics. Whether he’s wrestling with his kitten brother, bird-watching from the window, or chasing down stray balls around the house, Merlin is always on the move, making every day an adventure.

A Unique and Quirky Communicator

One of Merlin’s most adorable quirks is the way he purrs, trills, and chirps—all at the same time! It’s as if he’s composing his own little symphony, a melody that brings joy to everyone who hears it. His enthusiasm for life is infectious, and his human family adores the way he constantly fills their home with love and laughter.

Favourite Toys and Mischievous Moments

Like any energetic kitten, Merlin has a soft spot for toys—especially his automated feather toy and ball tower. But don’t let his innocent face fool you—this little troublemaker has a mischievous side too! His most daring stunt? Knocking his human brother’s LEGO off the furniture and “losing” a piece… only for it to mysteriously reappear in the washing machine days later!

What Would Merlin Say If He Could Talk?

If Merlin could speak, his first words would undoubtedly be: “Creamy treat, please!!” This food-loving feline knows exactly what he wants, and he isn’t afraid to ask for it—whether through his adorable chirps or by giving his signature one-eyed wink.
